I have worked in numerous clinical settings including private practice, university counseling centers, outpatient community health centers, and residential treatment facilities. My clinical work has focused on individuals struggling with: anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, and relationship distress.
My clinical orientation is best described as developmental and integrative. As such, I incorporate an examination of early and present attachment themes, with an exploration of how understanding these themes can help an individual take steps towards achieving deeper intimacy, improved mindfulness, and greater confidence in achieving personal and professional goals.
I have experience working with diverse populations, and value the exploration of the unique and intersecting identities that have shaped my patients. When working with couples, I apply techniques and interventions influenced by Emotion Focused Therapy and Imago Therapy.
